How To Unblock Someone On Facebook | Unblocking blocked People On Facebook

How To Unblock Someone On Facebook: Weeks, months, or years ago, you blocked among your Facebook friends. Now, you don't bear in mind why-- you just know that it's due time you unblocked them.

How To Unblock Someone On Facebook

In case you had actually failed to remember, when you originally blocked that private, you did two things. You blocked them from being able to see anything you post to your Timeline, for one. And secondly, you unfriended them.
If you choose to un-block someone, they will have the ability to see your public Facebook articles once again. Nonetheless, they will not automatically become your buddy again. You'll have to send a new friend's request to do that.
To head right into your setups and also unclog them, touch the enigma icon at the upper right of your Facebook screen. From there, tap "Privacy Shortcuts," then "How do I stop someone from bothering me?"
Then, choose "See all blocked users." Below, you'll see a listing of any individual who is presently blocked from watching your profile posts. Tap "unblock" alongside the name of the individual you want to unblock.

It's really that basic. However, be advised: If the individual never realized that you blocked them, to begin with, the sudden change may catch them by surprise.

If it's truly time for bygones to be bygones, it may be worth shooting them a Facebook message in addition to your pal request. Naturally, that's up to you, though. There's no shame in blocking-- or unblocking-- someone on Facebook.

Facebook restricted list guide 2019. Managing your Facebook restricted list is very easy and can be done as fast as…

Facebook Restricted List | Manage Blocking Restricted List | Facebook Restricted List Settings
Each time I post, it comes up with "friends except restricted." I have no "restricted" list on the left-hand side of the screen where lists appear.

I did have a restricted list age ago, but now I cannot find it.

Here are the steps that you currently need to find it. Note, however, that Facebook frequently changes its UI, so these steps may become outdated at some point in the future.

  1. Go to the lock icon in the upper-right corner, and click See More Settings:
  2. Screenshot 1
  3. Click on the Blocking tab on the left, then click Edit List in the Restricted List section at the top:Screenshot 2

You will then see a popup dialog with everyone on your Restricted List. You can also add and remove people from the list through this dialog.

Update 5/1/17 From your phone: Go to the person in questions page Click friends Click 'Edit Friend List' Scroll to the bottom and click 'Restricted.'

Had this problem with my girlfriend, we couldn't figure this out. For us - in July 2017 - this is how I solved it. (FB changes their UI so often, it's challenging to post a lasting fix, but here goes) ....
  1. On your friend's page whose posts you can't see, have them logged in
  2. Have them go to your profile page
  3. Click your Friends button
  4. Select "Add to another list..."
  5. See if the "Restricted" list is selected for some reason. If so, then click it again to hopefully take you off, Restricted List.

At least it worked for us.

How to See my Facebook Pokes – Access Pokes Received by Me – FB Poke Sent || Where Are My Pokes On Facebook Now

So, you just got poked by someone on Facebook— now what? A Facebook poke is a feature that lets users send a single virtual notification to anyone on their friends' list. No more, no less. Despite the feature’s name, the purpose of a poke has never been entirely clear. While poking was all the rage in 2007, it’s worth noting that its popularity has significantly declined on Facebook over the past few years. In 2011, the feature officially went into hiding on the site as part of a series of functionality updates.

In the younger days of Facebook, a poke was a cute and timid (though ineffective) way to virtually flirt or just say hello. Today, pokes still exist, but it’s hardly straightforward: Receiving a casual poke from your grandmother and your crush on the same day can leave you with bizarre mixed messages.
Still confused as to why someone would poke you on Facebook, or what it could mean? Here are all your Facebook poke questions, answered.

As said earlier, “poke” on the social networking website Facebook is used to bring in the attention of another user– there are no set guidelines about how pokes can be used. However, they can be used as basic tips, as friendly greetings, and for numerous other functions.
Facebook friends who have poked you will be noted on the side of the News Feed when you initially check-in, and if you want, you can get email alerts of pokes also. You can decide to return, conceal, or neglect each poke message.

This Facebook guide will show you how to view my Facebook pokes and see pokes sent by me with ease.

Poking Tips & Warnings:

Any of your verified Facebook good friends, any friends of friends, and anybody in a shared network can poke you. The same guidelines govern individuals; you have the ability to poke in return.
Hiding a poke from view removes it permanently. For those of us who are not aware, be it known to you that Facebook keeps no long-term record of the pokes that you have gotten.
Check that the e-mail address and mobile number entered into your account settings are correct to make sure that poke notices reach you.

Find Friends On Facebook Near Me By Location

By With No comments:
"Nearby Friends" on Facebook allows friends to know that you’re nearby. If you have the Facebook app on your phone ( be it iPhone or Android) you have this feature available.  Nearby Friends is an opt-in feature; meaning, it is OFF by default unless you turn the feature ON.

Let’s take a closer look at Nearby Friends, including what it might mean for teens.

Nearby friends are found within the FB app on the “More” tab at the bottom.  Click the “more” tab and then you’ll see Nearby Friends.  If turned off, you’ll be prompted to turn it on.
Nearby Friends in the Facebook mobile app Screen showing how to turn on Nearby Friends in Facebook app
Once on, you’ll see a list of Nearby Friends – those on your Facebook friends list who have ALSO decided to turn on this feature.  (This means you won’t see all your friends listed here).
List of Nearby Friends on Facebook

Click the settings icon in the upper right (as in the screenshot above).  This is where you can choose who can see your location.  For example, if you have set up lists on Facebook, you can choose to share your location with just that particular list, such as Close Friends.  The default is “Friends” as shown on the left; just select and then choose from your available lists.
Chose which friends get to see if you're nearby  Choose Close Friends list in the Nearby Friends feature to limit who can see your whereabouts
You can also share your precise location with a friend if you wish. For example, you might see that a friend is nearby and you want to meet up with them.  Click the arrow icon next to their name and then choose how long they can see your every move.
Click the arrow to share location with a nearby friend

If you’ve used Nearby Friends and decided it’s not for you, just turn the feature off. Follow the same steps (More tab > Nearby Friends > Settings) and then slide the slider to the left until the slider is no longer green.
Turn off Nearby Friends and check Location Settings
The tiny text on the screen lets you know that even though you have turned off Nearby Friends, the app is still building a “history of your precise location even when you’re not using the app”.  If you feel this is a bit intrusive, take a look at the Location Settings.
On the Location Settings screen, slide the slider to the left to turn off Location History.  This doesn’t delete your previously saved history; that is still lurking around on your Activity Log.  While you are the only who can see this log (it is not shared with friends) you can remove your history if you prefer.
Turn Location History off in the Facebook App
To get to the history log, click the “More” tab again, scroll all the way down and find Activity Log. Choose the Filter at the top, and select Location History (It’s near the bottom of the list).  Once selected, you’ll have a filtered view of your activity that only shows location history. Select “Clear Location History” (shown here).

Learn more about Facebook Nearby friends on the Facebook help page.

For those with teens who are active on Facebook, this would be a great time to review their Friends lists.  Teens are more likely to have a large number of Facebook friends.  Their friends' list is probably more of a “random acquaintance” list.  They could be sharing their whereabouts with hundreds of people.  Unless they are selective when adding friends they might be making their general location known to more people than you’d like (or they even realize).
Again, this is an opt-in feature, so talk with your teen about whether they should use this feature if they have Facebook on their phone.  If they do, perhaps limiting the sharing to “Close Friends” would be a wise approach.
I hope this guide was helpful?

Facebook Help Center Email | Facebook Support Contact Center Address

By With 8 comments:
Facebook Help Center Email | Facebook Support Contact Center Address - Unfortunately, there is no way to directly contact Facebook–you can't call, text, email, or otherwise speak to an employee or affiliate of Facebook. You can, however, use Facebook's Help Center to diagnose and report a problem with your account.

Using Facebook Resources

Open the Facebook Help Center webpage. If you aren't already logged into Facebook, you'll need to click the Login button in the top right corner of the page to enter your Facebook email address and password.

Review the options toolbar. This is at the top of the screen, directly beneath the search bar--you'll need to drag your mouse cursor over each option to view its subsections. Your options include the following:
Using Facebook - This section of the Help Center covers basic Facebook functionality, including how-tos on friending, messaging, and account creation.
Managing Your Account - Covers items such as your login and your profile settings.
Privacy and Safety - Addresses account security, unfriending people, and hacked/fake accounts.
Policies and Reporting - Covers basic reporting (abuse, spam, etc.) as well as handling a deceased person's Facebook account and reporting hacked or fake accounts.
You can also check out the "Questions You May Have" and "Popular Topics" sections on this page since they cover common issues and complaints.

Select a relevant section. For example, if you're having a problem with an impostor account, you'd select the "Privacy and Safety" section and then click Hacked and Fake Accounts.

Review additional options. In keeping with the impostor account example, you might click the "How do I report an account that’s pretending to be me?" link. Doing so will bring up a series of steps that explain how to remedy your situation.
For example, Facebook recommends dealing with an impostor account by going to the account's profile page, clicking ..., and clicking Report, then following the on-screen instructions.

Use the search bar to expedite your process. To do this, simply click on the search bar at the top of the Help Center page--it will say something like "Hi (Your Name), how can we help?"--and type in a few words related to your complaint. You should see several suggestions pop up in a drop-down menu below the search bar.
For example, you might type in "impostor account", then click on the "How do I report an account for impersonation?" result.
The search bar here only links to Facebook's pre-written articles--if you're looking for an answer to a specific issue not covered in the Help Center, skip ahead to the Community page.

Open the Ads Help Center page. If your business or page is having issues with ads, your questions are usually addressed in this section. To delve into advertising, you'll want to click Creating Ads or Managing Ads.
For problems with advertising, you'll need to click Troubleshooting Your Ads and then select an issue on the subsequent menu.

Visit the Facebook Community page. If you can't find your current problem listed anywhere in the Help Center, your best bet is to look for it in the community forums here. You'll see a search bar at the top of this page--you can look up topics (e.g., disabled accounts) from here.

Method 2 - Submitting a Complaint via the Better Business Bureau

STEP 1 - Open Facebook's Better Business Bureau page.

STEP 2 - Scroll down and click Submit a Complaint. This is on the lower right side of the webpage next to the Submit a Review button.

STEP 4 -

Is this an employee/employer complaint?
Is this a discrimination or civil rights complaint?
Does your complaint allege a criminal act?
Is this a business with a complaint for collections purposes with another business?

The issues you ran into while attempting to resolve the problem
Any potential solutions and/or suggestions you can think of

STEP 8 - Scroll down and click on Submit Complaint.

STEP 9 - Wait for an email to arrive. Facebook operates on West Coast time, so expect your email to arrive accordingly within three to five business days.

STEP 6 - Click on a file location. For example, you might click Desktop here.
